Site Engineer – Exeter £35,000 – £40,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits Exeter | Permanent | Civil Engineering Are you a Site Engineer looking to develop your career with an established main contractor in the South West? RGB Recruitment is recruiting for a Site Engineer to join an experienced project team in Exeter , working on a strong pipeline of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Site Engineer who has already gained some practical site experience and is ready to take on greater responsibility. Applications are also welcomed from Graduate or Trainee Engineers with good site exposure who are ready to make their next move. The Role Working alongside an experienced delivery team, you will support the technical delivery of works on site, including:
Setting out and technical delivery Ensuring works comply with drawings and specifications Maintaining accurate site, engineering and QA records Supporting health, safety, quality and environmental requirements Identifying and resolving technical issues Liaising with site management, subcontractors and project teams Supporting the delivery of works safely, accurately and to programme
About You We're looking for someone with:
A degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a relevant construction discipline Practical Site Engineering experience Main contractor experience would be advantageous Appropriate CSCS card Good technical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and attention to detail A desire to develop and progress within civil engineering
This could suit a Graduate/Trainee Engineer ready to step up or a Site Engineer in the first few years of their career looking for broader project experience and long-term progression. Package
