Autism Practitioner - Full-Time & Part-Time
Locations: Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath, Cardenden (Office & Community-based)
We are seeking confident, experienced support professionals to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality, personalised care to autistic adults across Fife.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Autism Practitioner, you will play a key role in empowering supported individuals to lead fulfilling, independent lives. Responsibilities include:
Developing and delivering outcome-based support plans tailored to individual needs (including 1:1 and 2:1 support).
Acting as a Keyworker, leading regular reviews, and collaborating with families and healthcare professionals.
Ensuring accurate digital record-keeping, upholding safeguarding standards, and complying with SSSC Codes of Practice.
Utilising low-arousal approach principles (Studio 3) to manage complex needs safely and effectively.
Participating in shift patterns (days, evenings, weekends) and an on-call rota as required.
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience as a capable support professional in a care setting.
Active SSSC registration (or willingness to register) and current PVG scheme membership.
Strong IT and communication skills, with a collaborative and flexible approach.
A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
