Job Title: Specialty Doctor in Respiratory Medicine Grade : Consultant Location : Birmingham, West Midlands Contract : 12-months fixed-term, with CESR support Rate : £55,825 to £90,000 a year pro rata per annum
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Specialty Doctor in Respiratory Medicine. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Specialty Doctor in Respiratory Medicine to provide top-tier care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with three acute hospitals and community sites serving a local population of around 700,000. You will be joining a team of 9 consultants, 7 Nurse specialists (sleep, lung cancer, NIV), in-patient Respiratory practitioner team, fully equipped Respiratory Physiology department and a dynamic, rapidly evolving department, reconfiguring to allow targeted sub-specialty work.

As a Specialty Doctor in Respiratory Medicine, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating respiratory conditions, managing patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will be vital in guiding teams to deliver high-quality respiratory medicine services and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications and Experiences
Medical degree and valid medical license.
MRCP or equivalent.
Applicants must have GMC registration or be eligible to join the register within 6-months.
Applicants for the substantive position must have GMC specialist registration or be eligible to join the specialist register within 6-months.
Proven experience as a Specialty Doctor in Respiratory Medicine.
Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in medicine procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
