Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a growing and well-established law firm with an excellent reputation within its sector. As the business continues to expand, they are investing in their finance function and are now looking to appoint a Finance Manager to help shape and develop the newly established finance team.
The role will give you the opportunity to have a real influence on how the finance function develops, with involvement across budgeting, forecasting, commercial analysis, contracts and business planning. With training provided around the SRA Accounts Rules , this could be an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to take ownership of a growing finance function within a professional services environment.
Skills Needed
CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified Previous experience within a Finance Manager or similar position with strong knowledge of core accounting and month-end processes. Experience managing, mentoring or supervising junior finance team members, with a supportive and hands-on management style. Experience using Xero, with exposure to a regulated environment or SRA Accounts Rules advantageous but not essential.
What You Will Receive
The opportunity to help shape a newly established finance team, with genuine ownership over the development of the wider finance function. A broad commercial role with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, contracts, investments and business expansion, working closely with senior decision-makers. The opportunity to manage and develop junior members of the finance team while continuing to remain hands-on across the accounts function. Ongoing support and training, including the opportunity to develop your knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and legal finance.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Manager or experienced finance professional looking to take on a broader role within a growing law firm. You'll have the opportunity to shape a new finance function, lead a small team and work closely with senior stakeholders across both financial and commercial matters.
