Job Title: Band 6 Adult Audiologist Location: North London Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 Months with option to extended Hourly Rate: £25 - £28 Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6 Adult Audiologist to join a Community Audiology Service on a maternity cover basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a community setting, delivering high-quality audiology care to adult patients and supporting individuals with their hearing health needs. You will play a key role in managing an adult audiology caseload, conducting assessments and rehabilitation appointments, and providing hearing aid support while working both independently and as part of the wider service to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage an adult audiology caseload within a community setting.
Conduct hearing assessments, reassessments, and rehabilitation appointments.
Provide hearing aid fittings, reviews, and ongoing patient support.
Deliver high-quality audiology care in line with professional standards.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
Work independently whilst supporting wider service delivery.
Contribute to maintaining continuity of care during a maternity cover period.
Qualifications and Experience
Have previous NHS Audiology experience.
Demonstrate experience managing adult audiology caseloads.
Possess strong assessment and rehabilitation skills.
Be confident working independently within a community setting.
Have experience providing hearing aid fittings, reviews, and ongoing support.
Maintain a high standard of clinical record keeping.
Excellent communication and patient care skills are essential.
