Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++) | Contract
Location: Bristol Rate: Up to £70 per hour Contract Length: 12 Months (with a strong likelihood of extension) Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
We're currently supporting a major engineering and technology programme within the defence sector and are looking to speak with experienced Embedded Software Engineers to join a highly skilled team working on complex, next-generation systems.
This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, developing software for advanced embedded platforms within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
The Role
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you'll be involved across the full software development lifecycle, helping to design, develop, integrate and test real-time embedded software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining embedded software in C and C++ Designing and implementing software for real-time systems Working with model-based development tools - IBM Rhapsody Collaborating with systems, hardware and integration teams Investigating and resolving software defects and technical issues Contributing to design reviews and technical discussions
Skills & Experience
The key requirements for this position are strong software development experience in C/C++ and hands-on experience with Rhapsody. What's on Offer?
