Bennett & Game Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious automotive manufacturer in the search for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their high-performance manufacturing operation in Woking.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to play a key role in supporting the production of world-class vehicles within a fast-paced and technologically advanced manufacturing environment. Working alongside Manufacturing, Engineering, Paint, Controls, Logistics and Quality teams, you will help optimise manufacturing processes, improve product quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production lifecycle.
Quality Engineer - Position Overview
Support and optimise manufacturing and inspection processes to improve quality, repeatability and operational efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality operations. Support process validation, equipment qualification and quality system activities. Investigate quality concerns using structured root cause analysis techniques and implement effective corrective actions. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality requirements are embedded throughout manufacturing operations. Develop and maintain process controls, inspection methods and quality standards. Support internal and external audits, compliance activities and quality reporting. Identify opportunities for automation, digitalisation and process improvements within manufacturing environments. Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to maintain manufacturing stability and exceptional product quality.
Quality Engineer - Position Requirements
Previous experience within a Quality Engineering role in an automotive, aerospace or advanced manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies. Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO standards and regulated manufacturing environments. Experience with process validation, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience would be advantageous.
Quality Engineer - Position Remuneration
