Data Analyst
Solihull (5 days per week) £35,000 per annum
VIQU has partnered with a global organisation looking to expand their dat capabilities. This role will be the sole Data Analyst position in the UK, working closely with the head of Technology, and the wider data team to transform business data into insights.
You'll be responsible for analysing and manipulating large datasets, identifying trends and potential issues before they impact the business, and presenting clear recommendations to senior stakeholders, including board-level leadership. Must have hands on expereince with SQL, and data visualisation tools.
Experience required for the Data Analyst:
Strong SQL skills. Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Google Analytics or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets. Experience presenting findings to senior stakeholders in a clear and commercially focused manner. Ability to commute to Solihull five days a week.
Key Responsibilities of the Data Analyst
Analyse business and operational data to identify trends, opportunities and risks. Develop forecasting models to support strategic decision-making. Produce dashboards, reports and presentations for senior leadership and board-level stakeholders. Proactively identify issues before they become business problems. Manipulate data using SQL. Work with data held within Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery.
