Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Nottingham, supporting the commercial delivery of social housing planned refurbishment and retrofit projects.
Client Details
Bell Group is a leading UK provider of social housing refurbishment, maintenance, planned works and retrofit services, working with housing associations, local authorities and other clients to improve homes and communities.
Description
Manage the commercial delivery of planned refurbishment and retrofit projects from start to finish. Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, margins and cash flow. Prepare valuations, applications for payment, variations and final accounts. Procure and manage subcontractor and supply chain packages. Review and agree subcontractor applications, valuations and final accounts. Identify commercial risks and opportunities and ensure appropriate action is taken. Work closely with Project Managers and Site Managers to monitor progress and commercial performance. Maintain accurate commercial records and provide regular financial reporting. Manage contractual requirements and support the resolution of commercial issues. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders. Support the delivery of works within occupied residential properties, ensuring commercial decisions consider resident experience and project requirements. Contribute to commercial reviews and continuous improvement across the programme.
