Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (AI, Copilot Studio)
Location: Dublin (Hybrid) Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract Contract Length: 6 months + Working Pattern: Full Time Daily Rate: £550
Our client is seeking talented Senior Software Engineers to join their Enterprise Risk and Finance Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to take a hands-on role in designing and delivering cutting-edge AI-enabled workflow automation solutions using the latest technologies, including Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Power Platform.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in:
Designing and developing innovative AI-driven workflow automation solutions. Building, configuring, and maintaining Copilot Studio agents and orchestration workflows. Implementing enterprise integrations using REST APIs, JSON payloads, and modern integration patterns. Developing supporting services, APIs, and automation components with Python. Collaborating closely with business users and analysts to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. Leading technical solution design activities to ensure alignment with enterprise standards. Conducting peer reviews and contributing to engineering best practises. Mentoring and supporting fellow developers while actively participating in sprint planning and delivery activities.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
Relevant software engineering experience in delivering enterprise technology solutions. Strong expertise in Python development. Proven experience in designing and building REST APIs and system integrations. Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications and API documentation. Solid understanding of JSON, web services, and modern integration patterns. Experience owning technical design for medium to large software delivery initiatives. A background in Agile development teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps. Proven ability to build enterprise workflow automation solutions. Experience integrating Microsoft 365 services, including Teams and SharePoint. Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) services. Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, or Agentic AI technologies. Experience with Azure cloud services. Proficiency in CI/CD tooling and automated deployment pipelines. A background in Financial Services or other highly regulated industries.
