An organisation within the manufacturing sector based in Portsmouth, currently undergoing huge growth looking to add to their established Manufacturing Engineer team.
Description
Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new product designs into production. Identify and resolve issues within the manufacturing process to maintain quality standards. Support the introduction of new technologies and equipment to enhance production capabilities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all manufacturing activities. Provide technical support and training to production teams. Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement. Work closely with suppliers to source materials and components efficiently.
Profile
A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:
A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related field. Practical experience in manufacturing or engineering environments. Knowledge of production processes and quality assurance standards. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
Job Offer
£50,000 - £60,000, dependent on the level of experience. Permanent position in Portsmouth within the manufacturing sector. Additional benefits provided by the employer.
