We're looking for an experienced Lead Solutions Architect & Development Lead to join our senior IT team, reporting directly to the IT Director.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll shape the firm's technology strategy while remaining actively involved in software development, architecture, database management and team leadership. You'll play a key role in designing scalable enterprise solutions for a 1,000-user organisation and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver technology that drives the business forward.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design of enterprise-wide software architecture and technical solutions. Develop and maintain business-critical applications using C#/.NET, Python, SQL and React . Design and build REST APIs and integrations with third-party systems, including our Case Management System. Oversee Microsoft SQL Server environments, T-SQL development and Power BI reporting. Lead, mentor and develop the MI & Application Development team using Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps . Work with senior business leaders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
About You
You'll have experience leading software engineering teams and designing enterprise-scale solutions, alongside strong technical expertise in:
C#/.NET and/or Python REST API development Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL Power BI React or modern JavaScript frameworks Agile delivery and Azure DevOps
Experience with Proclaim , Cloudflare or low-code automation platforms would be advantageous but isn't essential.
