Our client, Shropshire Council, is seeking a Senior Social Worker for its Duty & Assessment team.
This is a temporary ongoing post.
Paid at £38 per hour.

The role will involve the following:
Duty & Assessment team Completing SWA S47 S7 S37 Completing initial CIN, CP core groups. Court statement and care plan if we need to attend an initial court hearing. Every other week on duty where worker needs to be in the office – off duty SW will manage their time with some home working and completing follow up visits.
Requirements of the role:
Qualified Social Worker Fully Social Work England registered 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules) Must have significant post-qualified experience in children’s social care ideally in a children’s assessment / duty / triage / safeguarding setting.
