Why this role
You'll have direct access to the CEO, real influence over what we buy and how we trade it, and the room to build the merchandising function properly as we grow. If you want to be one voice among many in a large team, this isn't it. If you want to own something, it is.
About us
Live Unlimited London is a contemporary womenswear brand built on confidence, inclusivity and community. We design for a customer fashion has too often been treated as an afterthought - and we're growing, through our own digital channels and through partnerships with John Lewis, M&S and Next. Location: Angel, London UK - hybrid, 4 days a week on site - Permanent, full time
The role
We're looking for a Merchandising Manager to own the numbers behind our product.
Reporting directly to our CEO, you'll build and control the financial and range plans for the whole business, protect stock and margin, and be the person who says what's working, what isn't, and what we do about it.
It's a broad, hands-on role in a lean team. You'll partner closely with Buying on what we range and Marketing on how we bring it to market, work alongside our Trading Manager who trades our partner accounts, and line manage an Assistant Merchandiser.
Please only apply for this role if you have the required experience; at least 5 years' experience in fashion merchandising.
What you'll own
The seasonal financial plan and open-to-buy - sales, margin, intake and stock, by channel and department. The range plan with Buying: option counts, price architecture, and size and colour ratios that genuinely serve our customer. Intake phasing, allocation and replenishment - and availability on the lines that matter. The WSSI, the trade meeting and the in-season reforecast Markdown and promotional strategy, and the plan for exiting terminal stock. One Assistant Merchandiser, and the systems and standards the function runs on.
What we're looking for
Proven merchandising experience in fashion or apparel, at Merchandiser level or above, including full ownership of a WSSI and open-to-buy and with at least 5 years' experience in fashion merchandising. A track record of building seasonal plans and trading a business in-season to hit sales, margin and stock targets. Strong commercial numeracy and advanced Excel - you can build the model, not just read it. Multichannel experience: ecommerce alongside wholesale, concession or partner accounts. The confidence to challenge Buying with data, and to present clearly to a CEO. Line management experience, or readiness to take on a first direct report.
