Job Title: Consultant in Adult Psychiatry Grade : Consultant Location : Warrington, Lancashire Working Hours: 40
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our esteemed client's inpatient team in Warrington, Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatrist to contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services for adults within our community. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start from immediately for a short-term contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.
What will your responsibilities be?
Your responsibility will be to conduct psychiatric assessments, formulate accurate diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. You will have to provide consultation and support to primary care providers, community mental health teams, and other stakeholders involved in the care of adults with mental health needs. You will be expected to participate in service development initiatives, quality improvement projects, and research activities to enhance the delivery of mental health care services for adults.

Qualifications and Experiences:
Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
Section 12.
Demonstrated expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of mental health disorders in adults, including depression, anxiety, psychosis, and forensic psychiatry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
Commitment to continuous professional development and engagement in clinical governance activities.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the ongoing improvement of mental health services for adults.
