We are seeking to hire a Data Manager for our Actuarial team to manage our Casualty insights. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing, analysing, and interpreting data to support our casualty insurance data analytics operations. This role requires a strong understanding of data management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making.
How you'll make an impact
Oversee the collection, organisation, and maintenance of casualty-related data. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Analyse casualty data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Provide actionable insights to support underwriting, claims, and risk management strategies. Create dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders Work closely with actuaries, underwriters and brokers. Support the development of predictive models and advanced analytics initiatives. Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data management.
About You
Proven experience in data management, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar. Experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau. Understanding of casualty insurance products. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR). Must have right to work in the UK
