Quality Lead - Manufacturing Competitive Salary + Company Benefits Location: Rochester (Commutable from: Chatham, Gillingham, Gravesend, Sittingbourne, Maidstone ) Are you an experienced Quality Engineer or Quality professional looking to take the technical lead, step into a senior position and take ownership of a Quality function? On offer is the opportunity to become the technical expert within a growing Quality team, with the autonomy to lead projects, mentor others and drive quality standards across the business, alongside further training and professional development. This company specialise in the design and manufacture of electrical distribution equipment, supplying high-quality products into demanding applications. They are now looking for a Quality Lead to maintain product standards and drive continuous improvement across the business. You will lead and develop the Quality team, oversee the QMS in line with ISO 9001, manage audits and compliance, identify and reduce quality risks, oversee supplier quality and customer complaints, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business. You'll also mentor team members, coordinate workloads and champion a strong culture of quality. This role would suit an experienced Quality Engineer, Quality Manager or Quality Lead looking to take the next step into a senior position, gain greater autonomy and become the technical lead within a Quality function. The Role:
Lead the Quality function - Take ownership of the QMS and quality standards. Drive continuous improvement - Improve processes, compliance and product quality. Step into a senior role - Lead, mentor and develop the Quality team.
The Candidate:
Quality experience - Proven background in manufacturing quality. ISO 9001 knowledge - Strong QMS, audit and compliance experience. Leadership skills - Confident leading teams and driving improvement.
