Are you a seasoned Business Analyst looking to make a significant impact in the financial services sector? Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving organisational change and process improvement across complex projects.
Purpose of the Role: As a Business Analyst, you will assess evolving business needs, analyse impacts, and facilitate communication among stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting business case development and planning processes. Documenting requirements and ensuring traceability. Creating a Central Process Repository, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop process maps using BPMN 2.0 notation. Conducting process discovery workshops to map current-state workflows and define optimised future-state processes. Providing insights on process gaps and improvement opportunities to aid in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify change needs and recommend optimal solutions. Produce BA documentation, including target operating models and business requirements. Track and analyse EMEA regulatory updates, documenting their implications for systems and processes. Assess impacts of change on services and systems, highlighting options for informed decision-making. Communicate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams to implement solutions within time, budget, and quality constraints. Create plans to evaluate change impacts while maintaining audit-ready documentation.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Degree-level education; professional BA qualifications are desirable. Relevant experience in business analysis within financial services. Strong experience in end-to-end process mapping and design using BPMN. Proven ability to lead process discovery sessions with senior stakeholders. Understanding of process governance, including documentation standards and quality criteria. Strong multitasking, relationship-building, and communication skills. Experience managing deadline-driven projects, particularly in regulatory change. Knowledge of banking operations and trade flows. Resilient under pressure, capable of shifting between strategic and detailed tasks.
