My Client, a well established civil engineering contractor ia actively recruiting for an accomplished Quantiry Surveyor to augment it's cost management team in the east midlands.
As the Quantity Surveyor your main responisibilities will include;-
The preparation and management of budgets for groundworks projects and conducting cost estimations (including pricing of materials and labour).
Liaising with site and production teams and accurately recording progress via regular site visits, participating in frequent on-site project team meetings and ensuring a focus on any cost-saving opportunities.
Evaluating and selecting subcontractors based on experience and pricing, ensuring subcontractor payments are managed and compliant with contract terms.
Measuring work completed on site and preparing interim valuations.
Assisting in the preparation of final accounts.
Preparing financial reports and forecasts for groundworks projects, and monitoring projects to identify any potential financial risks.
You will be a qualified Quantity Surveyor with a track record gained within the civil engineering sector and with the ambition to progress within a successful and expanding business.
