Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a growing consultancy for a Civil Design Technician to join their team in Swindon.

You'll gain hands-on experience across infrastructure design projects, working alongside engineers and project teams to help deliver practical solutions for development schemes.

Key Duties
Assist with the preparation of detailed infrastructure and civil engineering designs.
Produce technical drawings and design information using CAD software.
Support the delivery of highways, drainage and development infrastructure projects.
Work with engineers, clients and external stakeholders to support project delivery.
Attend project meetings and site visits to develop technical understanding and industry knowledge.
Assist with the preparation of technical reports and supporting project documentation.
Requirements
Essential:
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Previous exposure to civil engineering or infrastructure projects through employment, placements or internships.
Experience using AutoCAD 2D, with 3D advantageous but not essential.
