A growing construction consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join its London office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cost management professional to take on a leadership role, overseeing the successful delivery of major projects while helping shape the future growth of a collaborative and ambitious consultancy.
The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will lead a portfolio of commissions from feasibility through to completion, providing strategic commercial advice and ensuring exceptional service for a diverse client base. Alongside project delivery, you will mentor junior surveyors, strengthen existing client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and play a key role in the continued development of the London team.
This position is ideal for an Associate Quantity Surveyor who enjoys combining technical excellence with leadership responsibilities and is looking to make a genuine impact within a consultancy that values initiative, collaboration, and long-term career progression.
Associate Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities:
Leading the commercial delivery of multiple high-value construction projects
Preparing and reviewing cost plans, procurement strategies, and tender documentation
Providing strategic commercial and contractual advice throughout the project lifecycle
Managing valuations, variations, financial reporting, and final accounts
Developing and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
Mentoring and supporting the progression of junior Quantity Surveyors
Contributing to business development and helping secure repeat and new work
Associate Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Extensive UK consultancy experience delivering pre- and post-contract services
MRICS qualified
Proven experience leading projects and managing client relationships
Strong commercial awareness with excellent leadership and communication skills
A proactive approach to mentoring, team development, and business growth
In Return:
£80,000-£90,000 per annum
