Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Band 5 Audiologist to join the Audiology Department with our client in South East London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy NHS audiology service, delivering high-quality hearing assessments and rehabilitation services to adult patients. You will play a key role in supporting patients with their hearing healthcare needs, carrying out diagnostic assessments, fitting hearing aids, and providing ongoing follow-up care to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct full diagnostic hearing assessments.
Assess patient hearing needs and recommend appropriate interventions.
Fit and programme hearing aids.
Manage follow-up appointments and hearing aid repair clinics.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
Undertake associated administrative duties.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a recognised qualification in Audiology.
Have experience conducting routine adult audiology assessments.
Demonstrate experience in hearing aid fitting and management.
Possess excellent communication and patient care skills.
Be able to maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
Previous NHS experience is desirable.
Experience working within adult audiology services is preferred.
