Our client, a leading UK provider of testing, inspection and compliance services, is looking to recruit a Site / Laboratory Technician to join its Materials Testing team in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within the construction and infrastructure sector. Full training will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with little or no direct industry experience who can demonstrate strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and good problem-solving skills.

Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure work areas remain clean and organised. Work closely with experienced technicians and laboratory staff as part of an established team.

Previous materials testing experience would be advantageous but is not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
Strong attention to detail. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. A practical hands-on approach. Basic IT skills and confidence using computer systems. The ability to follow procedures and work accurately. A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience within construction, manufacturing, engineering, laboratory or technical environments. A scientific, engineering or technical qualification. CSCS Card. Full UK Driving Licence.
What's On Offer?
Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term career prospects. Full training and ongoing development. Exposure to both laboratory and site-based testing environments. Monday to Friday working pattern with no regular weekend work. Opportunity to join a supportive and experienced team within a growing industry.
