HR Advisor
Location : Across both Broughton sites – BD23 1NA and BB18 6JZ Salary : £30,000 – £35,000 per annum, DOE + Excellent Benefits! Contract : Full time, Permanent Hours : 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break) Benefits : Annual Bonus : Up to £1,200 based on company and personal performance, Holidays : 25 days plus statutory holidays (option to purchase an additional week), Broughton Day : Option for a fixed day off every 2–3 weeks via salary sacrifice, Pension : Auto-enrolment, Life Insurance : 2x death in service and Healthcare : Cash plan

We are now looking to recruit an HR Advisor to support managers and employees across our business.
Reporting to the HR Director, this is a broad generalist role responsible for delivering professional HR support across the full employee lifecycle. You will provide advice, guidance and practical support across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement and HR administration.
The role combines HR advisory responsibilities with operational HR activities, ensuring people processes are delivered effectively, consistently and in line with employment legislation, company policies and business requirements.
It is well suited to someone who enjoys building strong working relationships, is organised and proactive in their approach and is confident supporting managers across a wide range of people matters.
As our HR Advisor you will:
Provide professional HR advice and support to managers and employees across a wide range of people matters Support employee relations activities, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance management cases Coordinate recruitment activity from vacancy approval through to offer stage, supporting managers and candidates throughout the process Manage onboarding and employee lifecycle administration, including contracts, new starter documentation and employee records Support performance management, learning and development activities across the business Maintain accurate HR systems, records and management information, ensuring compliance with data protection and employment legislation Support payroll administration by ensuring employee changes are communicated accurately and on time Assist with employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives and company events Support the review and maintenance of HR policies, procedures and compliance requirements Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes and systems
