We ensure a supportive and inclusive working environment which is underpinned by our culture of expertise, safety and trust. These things allow us to lead the way in terms of sustainability, innovation and personal development.
As the lead supplier in the UK LPG market, things rarely stand still for us. From humble beginnings, and as part of SHV Energy, Calor has continued to develop and diversify, ensuring that our service offering is expansive, progressive and relevant to our customers. It is our people that enable us to do that, which is why they are the heart of our business.
Calor are looking for a flexible and motivated Gas Service Engineer to join our field-based Assets team, providing engineering services and emergency response to Calor customers in the area.
Predominately working outdoors, key responsibilities will include:
Installing and maintaining Calor’s bulk tanks and assets (full training given) at customer sites Participation in travel (van and fuel provided) in order to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base
This role requires participation in a Standby Rota to respond to gas emergencies out of normal working hours and can involve extensive travel in order to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base. Therefore, you will need to have a flexible, positive and adaptable approach.
Please note this vacancy does NOT involve servicing or working on gas appliances
This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified gas engineer with minimal experience, to join the market leading LPG supplier and continue to develop and be trained as an LPG engineer. Need excellent problem solving and communication skills who is confident working on their own initiative on customer sites and who enjoys working mainly outdoors. A willingness to support other team members and colleagues is expected. You in turn will be supported through an ongoing commitment to develop your own skills, understanding and expertise as an LPG specialist.
