Are you passionate about Chemistry and eager to inspire the next generation of scientists, medics, engineers and researchers?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable A Level Chemistry Teacher to join a thriving Science department on a maternity cover basis. You will teach motivated post-16 students across a broad and engaging curriculum covering organic, inorganic and physical chemistry , while developing their practical and analytical skills through laboratory-based learning.
Key Areas of Teaching
Practical skills and scientific investigation Foundations of Chemistry Periodic Table and Energy Core Organic Chemistry Physical Chemistry and Transition Elements Organic Chemistry and Analysis, including chromatography and NMR spectroscopy
About You
Degree in Chemistry or a related subject Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, QTS or equivalent) Experience teaching Chemistry at Level 3/A Level Passion for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons Strong practical laboratory and health & safety knowledge
