We’re looking for a passionate Lecturer in Early Years to join our team at Salisbury Campus on a fixed-term maternity cover contract for one year.
Whether you’re an experienced lecturer or an Early Years professional looking to take your career in a new direction, this is an opportunity to share your knowledge, inspire learners and help prepare the next generation of Early Years practitioners.
You’ll bring your professional experience into the classroom and practical learning environment, helping learners develop the knowledge, practical skills, professionalism and confidence they need to progress into employment, apprenticeships, higher education or further study.
What We Offer
Salary:
Unqualified Lecturer: £29,294 per year, pro rata
Qualified Lecturer: £31,885 – £40,814 per year, pro rata (Depending on Skills, Qualifications & Experience)
Contract Type: Fixed Term Maternity Cover 1 year, Part Time 22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

What You’ll Do
Teach and assess learners across Level 1, 2 and T Level programmes, where appropriate Deliver engaging, practical and industry-focused lessons Develop learners’ knowledge of child development, safeguarding, wellbeing and early years practice Support learners to achieve qualifications and progress into employment, apprenticeships or higher education Share your professional Early Years knowledge and real-world experience Help learners build confidence, professionalism and ambition Prepare learners for successful careers working with children and families Contribute to an inclusive, supportive and inspiring learning environment
