Social Worker - High-Cost Review Project - Learning Disabilities & Autism

Our client, Cambridgeshire County Council, is seeking an agency social worker for its High-Cost Review Project team.

The role will last until end of December at least.

And is paid @ £38 per hour.

The role will involve the following:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Locum Social Worker who will work closely with the Senior Social Worker and the Contracts and Brokerage Team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support within a specialist service. This role sits within a county-wide specialist team working with adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism (LD&A). A key focus of the role is reviewing complex and high-cost care packages to ensure they are delivering positive outcomes, remain proportionate to need, and represent good value for public resources. Will need to be able to travel around Cambridgeshire for visits. No set office days currently, however this may change to 1 day a week in the office base

Requirements of the role:

Qualified Social Worker Fully Social Work England registered Must have significant post-qualified experience in adult social care Must have significant experience of working with adults with Learning Disability Ideal candidate will have some project work experience
