Head Chef -New Opening
We are looking for a talented Head Chef for a brand-new fresh food neighbourhood restaurant launching in Peckham in October. The centrepiece of the menu will be rotisserie chicken and open fire cooking, complimented with innovative sides, house sauces and more. The restaurant will offer a full takeaway menu and delivery.
As Head Chef you will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of your kitchen including:
All food production, stock management & wastage Compliance with all statutory regulations and legislation Staff training & retention Food safety & hygiene The kitchen budget and GP Maintain exceptional standards of quality assurance, food prep and cooking Maintaining a 5* Food hygiene rating
Required: Qualifications / Skills / Experience
Passion and enthusiasm for food and quality, Relevant experience in a high-volume fresh food restaurant Experience working with a busy takeaway & delivery service. Excellent attention to detail Team player with a strong work ethic
Meticulous, organised and punctual
Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and reliable Head Chef, up to date with modern cooking techniques, even-tempered, quality driven and comfortable working closely with the General Manager to ensure that every service runs smoothly.
What we offer:
Salary £45,000 minimum (basic +tronc) + excess tronc 48 hours over 5 days Career progression within a growing hospitality group
