Location: Luton, Bedfordshire (Hybrid Working, max 1 or 2 days per week on-site)
Contract: 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract, with potential extension.
Infrastructure & Security Engineer
Marshall Wolfe is delighted to be partnering with a national organisation in their search for an experienced Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join their technology team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong infrastructure professional with a passion for cyber security to play a key role in a range of strategic technology initiatives. You will work alongside internal teams and technology partners to strengthen infrastructure, improve security posture and support the delivery of critical transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations and modernisation projects Support Microsoft cloud and on-premise technologies including Azure and Microsoft 365 Conduct infrastructure security reviews and implement security improvements Support vulnerability management and remediation programmes Assist with identity and access management initiatives Produce technical documentation, operational procedures and implementation plans Work with stakeholders across technology and business teams to ensure successful project delivery
Experience Required
Strong experience across Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Windows Server Experience with Microsoft Defender and security-focused technologies Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and CIS Controls Experience delivering infrastructure migration or transformation projects Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Relevant Microsoft certifications highly desirable
Desirable Certifications
CISSP CCNP / CCNP Security Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert Azure Solutions Architect Expert SC-100, SC-200 or SC-300 certifications
