Commercial Data Analyst
£45,000 – £55,000 | London | Hybrid, minimum 3 days per week
Are you a Data Analyst who wants to get closer to the decisions your work actually influences?
We’re partnering with an ambitious, high-growth luxury fashion and eCommerce group that is investing heavily in the next stage of its growth.
At the heart of the business is a membership-led digital platform with a growing customer base, rich behavioural data and significant plans across the wider group. As the portfolio expands, the business is now investing in the data, technology and commercial infrastructure needed to support that growth.
They’re looking for a Commercial Data Analyst to become a foundational member of that journey.
This isn’t a role where you’ll spend your time producing dashboards that disappear into the business.
You’ll work directly with senior commercial leadership, using data to understand customer behaviour, identify trends and answer the questions driving growth across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take ownership of analysis across customer, membership, trading and operational performance.
That will include:
Using SQL to interrogate data across multiple systems and datasets
Turning broad commercial questions into clear analysis
Identifying trends, opportunities and areas worth investigating further
Building reporting and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar
Presenting findings in a way that makes sense to commercial and senior stakeholders
Helping define and measure the KPIs that matter as the business scales
Working between Commercial and Technology as the business develops its central data warehouse
Supporting data quality, accuracy and reporting logic as that environment evolves
You won’t be expected to architect or build the data warehouse yourself. There is already technical ownership in place.
Instead, you’ll help make sure the data being produced is accurate, useful and able to support real commercial decisions.
What we’re looking for
You’ll need a strong grounding in data analytics and enough technical confidence to work independently, but this role is equally about what you do with the information once you’ve found it .
The key requirements are:
Strong SQL skills and confidence working independently with data
Information from public records, not immigration advice.
