Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with experience working with control panel based equipment, process machinery , automation systems , or production machinery. We're working with a global engineering organisation seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Projects Team. You'll play a key role in delivering electrical and automation solutions across a portfolio of projects, supporting the full project lifecycle from design and procurement through to commissioning and customer support. Be the subject matter experience for all electrical aspects of multiple engineering projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales, specifications and budgets. Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and project documentation, including control philosophies and equipment schedules working closely with the suppliers. Specify and procure control panels, instrumentation and electrical equipment while managing supplier performance. Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), commissioning, troubleshooting and site activities across customer and supplier locations. Work closely with project managers, sales teams and subcontractors on quotations/bid/costings.
Electrical Engineer Experience / Skills / Qualifications:
HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience. Experience delivering electrical engineering projects within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Good understanding of electrical schematics, UK electrical standards and instrumentation. Confident communicator and capable of being customer/supplier facing Experience working with control systems/control panels
