Description
Own the monthly management accounts and provide clear analysis of revenue, gross profit, margins, overheads and profitability. Analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior year, identifying the key commercial drivers behind variances. Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs across the business. Analyse profitability by client, contractor, division, sector and revenue stream. Partner with senior leadership and commercial teams to identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins and drive profit. Challenge assumptions and provide financial insight to support better commercial decision-making. Own rolling forecasts covering revenue, gross profit, operating costs, cash flow and profitability. Support the annual budgeting and strategic planning process
Profile
Accountancy Qualification ACCA/CIMA/ACA Strong experience in management accounting and commercial finance. Proven ability to analyse revenue, gross profit, margins, costs and profitability. Strong financial modelling, forecasting and cash flow skills. Commercially minded with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders. Ability to turn financial analysis into clear recommendations and actions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial performance to non-finance stakeholders. Excellent Excel and analytical capability.
