The role of Management Accountant in Newark is key to supporting the accounting and finance function.
You'll be handling the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and helping the business stay on top of its financial goals.
This is a office based role in Newark (five days on site).

Our client is a market leader and looking to hire a Management Accountant into their team in Newark due to business growth.
This role would suit someone who is looking to play an important role in our client's finance team.
Description
Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts and financial reports. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning. Reconcile balance sheets and manage financial controls. Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors. Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Assist with cash flow management and cost control measures. Collaborate with different departments to provide financial guidance and support.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
Part-qualified status in a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA). Able to commute to our client's office in Newark. Strong technical accounting skills and an analytical mindset. Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports. Confidence in working with financial systems and Excel. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Offer
Salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000, dependent on the level of experience. Discretionary bonus. Permanent position in Newark.
