Pulse Nursing are currently seeking Band 5 & 6 Registered ITU Nurses to join our growing team to work for Barts Health NHS Trust. Barts Health NHS Trust currently have a high volume of shifts available and as a Pulse healthcare professional, you get the first choice of the best shifts!
This current opportunity will give you the flexibility to book in advance so you can plan ahead and in turn, be in control of your schedule. With Barts being one of Pulse Nursing’s priority clients, we can offer a great deal of shifts within this trust.
We are offering a variety of shift patterns, including the option of full-time equivalent hours, in Barts Health Trust paying between £20.89 - £39.58 per hour.
As a Band 5 or 6 ITU Nurse, you will be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. You will work with cutting-edge technology and a diverse range of patients, helping them through their most challenging times.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high standards of care to critically ill patients, including those requiring mechanical ventilation, haemodynamic monitoring, and advanced life support.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the wider healthcare team.
Monitor and interpret patients' vital signs, responding swiftly to changes in their condition.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely, following protocols and guidelines.
Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families during what can be a highly stressful time.
Role Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN) with current NMC registration.
Interest in or experience in critical care, with a commitment to developing skills in an ITU setting.
Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting
To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, Clinical References and Updated CV
Right to work within the UK – Proof will be required.
