We are working with a leading global insurer as the seek an experienced catastrophe modelling professional to join the business and help drive innovation, lead on portfolio optimisation, and drive overall business performance. This is a highly-visible role, partnering closely with underwriters, actuaries, and senior stakeholders to deliver analytical insight that supports underwriting performance and risk strategy. The successful candidate will lead a close-knit and collaborative team, support business planning and regulatory reporting, and drive the development of catastrophe risk capabilities across the organisation. Key Requirements
Extensive catastrophe modelling experience within (Re)insurance using a recognised vendor model. Technical proficiency using tools such SQL, Python, and Power BI is highly advantageous. Experience leading teams and managing senior stakeholder relationships is desired Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
