An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Female PE Teacher or Female Head of PE to join a successful East London secondary school for a short-term maternity cover from September.
The school is happy to consider either an outstanding PE Teacher or an experienced Head of PE who can provide leadership to the department during the cover period.
ABOUT THE PE TEACHER ROLE
The successful Female PE Teacher / Head of PE will:
Teach high-quality PE and Sports Studies Inspire students of all abilities to enjoy and achieve in PE Join a strong, established and supportive PE department Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour Potentially lead and support the department during the maternity absence Contribute positively from day one
THE SUCCESSFUL PE TEACHER WILL BE:
An experienced secondary PE Teacher An excellent classroom practitioner Passionate about PE and Sports Studies Confident, organised and a strong communicator Flexible and able to quickly settle into an established department Ambitious, hardworking and a good team player Available full time from September 2026
Applications are particularly welcomed from experienced Heads of PE, Second in PE and experienced PE Teachers who would be confident taking additional responsibility during the cover period.
