A welcoming specialist school in Chippenham, Wiltshire is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Emotional and Mental Health Support Worker to support children aged 5-16 with Autism, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, anxiety, trauma, and additional learning needs. This Emotional and Mental Health Support Worker role offers invaluable experience working alongside experienced teachers, therapists, psychologists, and specialist SEN professionals in a nurturing and therapeutic educational environment.

As an Emotional and Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide one-to-one and small group support to children, helping them develop emotional resilience, confidence, and healthy coping strategies. You will support students in managing their emotions, encourage positive behaviour, build trusting relationships, and help them engage positively in both learning and social activities. The Emotional and Mental Health Support Worker will also work closely with teaching staff to implement wellbeing strategies, promote emotional regulation, and create a safe, structured, and supportive environment where every child can thrive.
