Are you an experienced Senior Support Worker ready for your next step?
We are recruiting for a Team Leader to join a children's residential care provider with homes across Birmingham. You will support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes for children and young people.
Responsibilities
Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home. Provide a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for children and young people. Support education, independence and emotional wellbeing. Ensure care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures are followed. Maintain accurate records and reports. Support and guide Residential Support Workers. Attend reviews, meetings and multi-agency discussions. Promote positive outcomes and high standards of care.
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care, Residential Childcare or equivalent. Minimum 1 year's experience in a Senior role within a Children's Residential Home. Strong safeguarding knowledge. Full UK Driving Licence. Flexibility to work across homes in Yardley Wood, Kings Heath, Moseley and Oldbury.
