Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Enfield / Chingford | £35,000–£45,000 + Benefits + Career Progression
An established, family-run construction company with around 40 years of experience is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a few years of industry experience who is looking to develop their commercial career within a supportive SME environment.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors, with direct access to approachable Directors and a clear pathway for career progression.
Key responsibilities:
Assisting with valuations, variations and payment applications Supporting cost reporting and financial forecasting Subcontractor procurement and payments Preparing tender and commercial documentation Monitoring project costs and budgets Assisting with contract administration Reviewing subcontractor accounts Liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers Supporting Senior Quantity Surveyors across multiple projects
Projects include internal and external refurbishments, high-end construction and restoration of existing and period buildings.
The position is predominantly office-based in Chingford, with candidates required to attend the office several times per week.
This role would suit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor seeking long-term progression rather than a trainee.
