Job Role of the Electrical Shift Engineer
A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by a strong Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer has come to the forefront. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on a range of plastic extrusion and injection moulding equipment, alongside supporting continuous improvement projects to maximise plant reliability and performance.

Sector – Factory Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Shift Engineer
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias.
Minimum NVQ Level 3 Engineering Qualification (or equivalent).
Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Willingness to work a continental days and nights shift pattern.
Requirements for the Electrical Shift Engineer
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Mechanical maintenance experience on industrial machinery.
Experience working within manufacturing, production, processing, plastics, FMCG, packaging, recycling, logistics, automation or similar industrial environments.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Shift Engineer
Experience maintaining plastic extrusion or injection moulding machinery.
17th or 18th Edition Electrical Qualification.
Apprentice trained or equivalent.
Experience using CMMS systems.
Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within the UK.
Responsibilities of the Electrical Shift Engineer
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
