Your new company
A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Manchester team. The organisation delivers innovative and sustainable engineering solutions across sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, data centres, infrastructure and advanced technology projects.
Your new role
You'll lead the delivery of mechanical building services design projects from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include producing technical designs and calculations, coordinating project delivery, attending meetings, reviewing contractor information, supporting site activities, and mentoring junior engineers.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree-qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering. Working towards or holding professional accreditation (IEng/CEng preferred). Strong HVAC design experience. Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication, technical and commercial awareness. Ability to support and develop junior team members.
