Project Manager £50,000 - £60,000 Hybrid working, typically 2-3 days per week on site We are recruiting Project Managers for a range of opportunities within a complex defence engineering environment. The roles cover both core project delivery and client-facing activity. This creates scope for Project Managers from different backgrounds, with some opportunities focused on delivering complex programmes and others centred more on customer-facing work, bids, estimating and business-winning activity. Essential eligibility
British national is essential Able to obtain or maintain UK SC clearance Previous Project or Programme Management experience Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working within complex projects, programmes or organisations
Depending on the role, relevant experience could include:
Project delivery across cost, schedule and risk Earned Value Management (EVM) Schedule management and schedule risk Budget or cost management Bid, proposal or tender management Estimating and business case development Customer or client-facing project management Leading or coordinating multi-functional teams Working within engineering, product development or another technically complex environment Defence, aerospace, MOD or other regulated sector experience
Defence experience can be useful but it is not essential for every opportunity. Strong transferable Project Management experience from another complex environment will also be relevant. These opportunities would particularly suit Project Managers who are comfortable working across large stakeholder groups, dealing with complexity and taking ownership in environments where specialist responsibilities sit across a wider team. They are permanent positions.
