Manufacturing Engineer Location: Rotherham Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer looking for an opportunity to work on complex, high-precision components within a highly technical manufacturing environment?
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an established specialist manufacturer in Rotherham, supplying precision-engineered components into the aerospace sector . Due to continued investment and growth, they are looking to appoint a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and improvement of manufacturing processes.

As Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in developing manufacturing methods, supporting new product introductions and providing technical expertise to the production team. Your responsibilities will include:
Creating and developing manufacturing methods and processes. Designing and developing work-holding solutions, including technical drawings. Simulating CNC programmes using Vericut. Providing shop floor support during new process and product prove-outs. Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications. Producing technical production documentation, including SOPs, tooling sheets and inspection sheets. Providing technical support and expertise to the production team. Applying knowledge of special processes, heat treatments and coatings. Supporting measurement and inspection activities. Providing technical support to project and commercial teams. Identifying risks, issues and opportunities for improvement. Supporting continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
We're looking for someone with a strong manufacturing engineering background who is confident working in a precision engineering environment.
You'll ideally have:
A degree in Manufacturing Engineering or an apprentice-trained equivalent. Previous experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role. Experience with CNC programming and Vericut simulation . CAD/CAM experience. Previous experience within the aerospace or defence sector . Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team. A proactive approach and a genuine interest in improving manufacturing processes.
