Location: Tunbridge wells
Contract: Permanent
Start date: September 2026
Pay: £135 to £200 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications)
Academics are currently seeking an English Teacher to join an excellent secondary school in Tunbridge Wells . If you have a love for teaching English and have the ability to engage students in English lessons, we want to hear from you!
Role Overview
Deliver high-quality English lessons up to KS5 Plan and create engaging, curriculum led lessons Encourage an interest of reading, writing, and communication Monitor student progress and support academic development
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom control An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Legal right to work in the UK Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
