Senior Analytics Engineer
Permanent role - up to £65k base + benefits
Oxford | Hybrid (2 days onsite)
The Role
I'm partnering with an innovative organisation looking to hire a Senior Analytics Engineer to help develop and optimise its cloud-based data platform. Reporting into the Head of Data , you'll be responsible for building scalable data solutions, developing ETL/ELT pipelines, enhancing enterprise reporting, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver robust analytics across the business.
Requirements:
Strong SQL experience (Essential) Microsoft Fabric experience (Essential) Azure SQL Server Azure Data Factory (ADF) Azure Synapse ETL/ELT pipeline development Python Azure DevOps (CI/CD) Git Power BI or similar BI tools Experience designing and maintaining cloud-based data platforms
Nice to have and will make you stand out:
Data modelling (Star/Snowflake Schema) NoSQL databases (e.g. Cosmos DB, MongoDB) C# Data governance and GDPR knowledge Agile/Scrum experience Legacy system migration experience Experience working with offshore teams
