Group Finance Manager – Financial Accounting and Control
Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £75,488 to £83,875 per annum for 35 hours per week.
Location: Bruce Kenrick House, 2 Killick Street, London N1 9FL

What you’ll do
As our Group Finance Manager – Financial Accounting and Control , you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and effectiveness of financial reporting across Notting Hill Genesis.
Working as a senior member of the Financial Reporting and Control team, you’ll be responsible for the preparation of Group and subsidiary statutory accounts, coordinating our interim and year-end audits and ensuring regulatory returns are delivered accurately and on time.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Financial Accounting and Control , providing expert technical accounting support across Group accounting activities and deputising when required.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced qualified accountant who enjoys combining technical financial accounting expertise with leadership, stakeholder management and continuous improvement.
How you’ll do it
Lead the preparation of statutory accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring high-quality, accurate and timely reporting. Lead and coordinate the delivery of quarterly, interim and year-end audits across Group entities. Develop and manage the year-end audit timetable, working collaboratively with Finance Managers, Heads of Service, auditors and colleagues across NHG to support smooth and timely delivery. Ensure all required financial regulatory returns and filings are completed accurately and within required deadlines. Support the Head of Financial Accounting and Control across Group accounting activities and deputise when required. Lead the monthly reconciliation and accurate recording of intercompany transactions across Group entities. Undertake quarterly analytical reviews of Group entities, providing meaningful insight into financial performance and financial health. Prepare and support financial reporting to senior management and relevant committees. Strengthen financial reporting and internal control processes, ensuring the integrity, reliability and accuracy of underlying financial data. Work with colleagues across the organisation to address audit findings and recommendations and continuously improve financial controls. Build strong and effective relationships with Finance colleagues, auditors and stakeholders across NHG.
