Location: Midlands
A leading UK financial services organisation is expanding its Pricing Development team and is seeking a Principal Pricing Development Analyst to play a key technical role in its pricing transformation.
The role will involve:
Developing, improving and monitoring pricing models across the full pricing lifecycle. Applying advanced statistical and data science techniques to behavioural modelling and analytics. Researching new techniques and approaches to improve pricing performance. Ensuring model quality, data integrity and effective governance. Providing technical expertise and influencing business decisions through clear analytical insight. Supporting and mentoring colleagues across the team.
About the candidate
The successful candidate will be an experienced data science, modelling or pricing professional, ideally from insurance or financial services, with:
Strong experience in pricing and/or data science modelling. Technical expertise in SQL, Python and/or R. Experience developing models and translating analytical outputs into business insights. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. A proactive, innovative approach to problem solving and continuous improvement. The ability to lead complex work and support the development of others.
