Overview
We're recruiting 4 Technical Project Engineer / Technical Project Manager profiles to support a sensitive Aerospace & Defence programme. You'll own the technical execution and delivery of project activity, acting as the main technical interface between engineering teams and delivery management, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, schedule, quality and governance.
Responsibilities
Coordinate technical activities across engineering teams and stakeholders. Track delivery against objectives, milestones, and technical deliverables. Manage and report RAID (risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies) and escalate appropriately. Support creation/maintenance of project plans and technical roadmaps. Provide technical leadership and first-line technical decision-making within scope. Manage technical interfaces with customers, suppliers and internal teams. Support reporting, forecasting, and performance monitoring. Ensure adherence to engineering processes, standards and governance. Support configuration management and change control. Facilitate technical reviews and milestone assessments.
Skillset / experience required
Essential
Active SC clearance (UKEO). Experience delivering technical projects/work packages in Aerospace & Defence / MOD / Defence Digital environments. Project planning & scheduling (critical path, milestones). Dependency/interface planning and stakeholder coordination. RAID and change control; forecasting and reporting. Degree qualified (Engineering or related technical discipline).
Desirable
DV clearance. APM / PRINCE2 / PMI / Agile / scheduling qualification. Regulated engineering delivery experience (Aerospace / Defence / Automotive). Digital engineering / test / simulation / through-life support exposure. Multi-partner / supplier delivery experience.
