Job Title: Adult Speech and Language Therapist Band: 7/8a Location: Croydon Start: ASAP Duration: 3 months Rate: £35.00 – £43 p/h
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7/8a Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist at a Principal SLT level. Join our client’s team and make a real difference in the lives of adults with communication and swallowing difficulties. You will work in a supportive and dynamic environment, providing exceptional patient care. If you are ready to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and discharge adult clients with communication and swallowing difficulties.
- Focus on clients with long-term conditions such as MND and dysfluency.
- Work primarily in the Croydon University Hospital Out-patient area.
- Collaborate with Community Adult SLT Teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HCPC & RCSLT registration.
- A recognized degree in Speech and Language Therapy or an equivalent qualification.
- At least three to five years, including experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders.
- Proficiency in using various therapeutic techniques and tools is essential.
- Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and maintaining an up-to-date CPD portfolio.
